Production of Chemical Products

For chemical product production, raw materials such as granulate and chemical primary products are temporarily stored and transported within manufacturing facilities. Demag overhead traveling, suspension and slewing jib cranes perform these tasks precisely and reliably.

For handling of barrels and boxes, we equip storage areas and workplaces with cranes that can be integrated into the given environment and require minimum space. Demag motors keep processes on the move with drives for materials handling solutions and ensuring that the right quantities of substances are employed.

Solutions for Hazardous Locations

Demag's newest line of Hazardous Location Hoists expands the Demag product line into Class I, Division 1 and Class I, Division 2 applications. This hoist can be combined into a full Ex-Protected Crane Kit, giving you the full crane kit suited for environments where gasses or vapors may be present. Our packages include pre-engineered components, configured exactly to your specifications. All EX crane package components are suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups B, C and D, and Temperature Class T3 applications.
