This standardized functionality reduces the engineering time and assures you’re getting a safe solution at the best value.

Turning heavy loads has always been a function from Demag, but now this is a standard option when you order a crane. Powered by Demag SafeControl, this system monitors the entire turning process on all crane and hoist functions. Depending on the wire rope hoist requirements, an inclined angle pull of up to 20 degrees can be achieved for loads up to 50 tons. SafeControl can be used in 2 ways in this standard configuration. For the highest degree of safety, SafeControl can monitor all motion sequences, automatically stopping lifting and travel motions when maximum specification have been reached. SafeControl can also be used with a two-channel, non-contact sensor system which uses acoustic and visual warnings when maximum angles and specification have been exceeded. Use a wireless radio so your operators can visually monitor the load from a safe distance.
