Demag DC-II chain hoist

Demag offers three sizes (DC-II 1/2, DC-II 5 and DC-II 10) with load capacities from 125 to 2,000 kg as pre-assembled chain hoists. The additional benefits for you are fast availability and perfect harmonisation of the tried-and-tested components. 

These chain hoists, which are available direct from stock, feature safe, low-wear 1/1 reeving. With the 2m to 4m groups of mechanisms, they can achieve up to 6,300 hours of service. With the two speed settings, you can choose between a high operating speed (V2) and a sensitive positioning speed (V1).

Of course, the benefits of DC-Com II and DC-Pro II also apply to our popular range. They therefore benefit from enormous operating reliability with a slipping clutch fitted as standard, a long service life thanks to generously dimensioned components, and proven Demag quality straight from Wetter. Install your DC-II chain hoist quickly and easily with Plug & Lift and then commission it right away. Both variants are equipped with an interface for electric travel and are therefore also suitable as a crane hoist.

DC-Pro II or DC-Com II?

Demag DC-II hoists are available in Pro and Com versions. Both variants are based on the same high-quality foundation and have no differences in terms of the components installed or the high safety standards. Demag distinguishes between Pro and Com in the promise of a higher FEM grouping and in the available lifting speeds.

Group of mechanisms to FEM / ISO

Hoist units are classified according to FEM/ISO in accordance with DIN EN 14492-2 and calculated on the basis of the average operating time, the load on the hoist and the lifting distances travelled per day. The result is the maximum service life of the hoist unit under full load.

Our production facility has been manufacturing crane and lifting equipment, and industrial drives in Wetter an der Ruhr for over 200 years. This centuries-long expertise in the development and manufacture of solutions for lifting loads is reflected in Demag’s high understanding of quality.

The DC-II gearbox is still manufactured in-house by Demag. This is the only way for us to meet our demanding quality requirement for the chain hoist.

Gerhard Schubert GmbH has opted for a high-quality and proven Demag solution when equipping assembly workstations for the assembly of units with handling systems: the Demag KBK light crane system. The workstations are spanned by four KBK systems, each with two crane bridges. A total of eight Demag DC-II E-chain hoists with a load capacity of 500 kg each take care of vertical transport.

Wilo Group

Demag KBK suspension cranes are used for large-scale transport in Wilo's factory of the year. They are used by employees to move pump components from the conveyor belt or from an automated transport system (AGV) to the processing machine and from there to further conveyor technology. Depending on the application, different Demag chain hoist series 
(DC-Com, DC-Pro) are used, as well as assistance systems in which the worker can easily guide the load to the destination with hand movements (DCMS-Pro Manulift, DCBS-Pro with “Balancer” function).
