New crane generation: Demag V-type crane at EuroBlech 2014

Terex Material Handling will be showing its revolutionary Demag V-type crane product at EuroBlech, the International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition in Hanover, from 21 to 25 October 2014.

17 – 30 – 500,000: these figures represent key features of the new Demag V-type crane, which weighs 17% less, has 30% less oscillation and a service life of at least 500,000 changes of load. For the V-type girder (patent pending), which utilises vertical struts and tapered diaphragm joints, the design engineers applied bionic principles, for example, by stiffening parts that are subjected to high loads, while eliminating material in other places.

Terex Material Handling will be showing a segment of girder with a DR-Pro 3.2 t rope hoist at Stand D58 in Hall 17. Experts from Terex Material Handling will use the exhibit to explain the innovative crane girder design, its applications and the benefits it offers for a wide variety of industries.

“Handling Steel” is the motto used by Terex Material Handling for EuroBlech 2014. For visitors from industry, the stand addresses the three main themes

  • Innovation
  • Handling and transport
  • Storage

to provide information on current products and solutions offered by the manufacturer of industrial cranes and crane components.
