This is what characterises the Demag LRS wheelsystem. With the Polyurethan (PUR) wheel, we have now made the wheel system even faster and more powerful.
This gives you a 10% increase in load capacity and up to 30% higher speed compared to the previous LRS wheels.

Material composition and optimized geometry
A new material composition and optimized geometry make it possible: The extremely robust cast iron core is en cased in a polyurethane (PUR) bandage, which not only provides more performance in terms of speed. At the same time, the new wheel enables higher payloads to be accommodated compared to the previous models. Extensive test series in our test field have substantiated these results. Guided on aluminium rails, the wheels with PUR drum are characterised by very quiet and gentle running.
4 Sizes - 2 Designs
The PUR wheels are offered in four different sizes and two designs. Graded in lifting capacities of up to 4.65 t, they reach a maximum speed of 260 m/min. Sizes Ø [mm] LRS 200 F LRS 250 F LRS 350 F 200 250 350 Load capacity.
With the new Demag PUR wheels, this risk is a thing of the past: even extended downtimes under high loads can be realized without any reduction in load capacity. For maximum operational safety, greater planning flexibility, and ultimate reliability.
Complete Drive Solutions made to measure
For the realization of complete driving units, PUR wheels are combined with Demag parallel or right-angle geared motors. To this end, the Demag modular system offers individual drive solutions based on proven series components with high power density and functional reliability.
