  • Drum

    • The standard version of the drum is made of painted steel.

    Option: Stainless steel drum for greater resistance to corrosion or demanding hygienic environments.

    • The drum drive shaft forms part of the compact, enclosed drive system.
    • Together with the belt attachment, it ensures smooth, jitter-free lifting movements.

  • Band

    Synthetic Dyneema® webbing

    • Made from cross-woven, high-strength polyethylene (Dyneema®).
    • Lubrication-free, corrosion-resistant, UV-stable and abrasion-resistant.
    • No polygon effect thanks to form-fitting deflection.
    • Very quiet and low-vibration, enabling precise positioning of the load.
    • Easy to clean – even under high pressure.

  • Stainless steel version

    The stainless steel options enhance corrosion resistance and hygiene – ideal for food, pharmaceutical or cleanroom applications, as well as harsh, abrasive environments.

    Stainless steel is available as an option for:

    • Hooks
    • Base plate
    • Chassis components
    • Drum
    • Electrical housing
    • Protective shield (e.g. for heat protection/particle removal).

  • Suspension and chassis

    Fixed suspension:

    • For permanent installations directly on existing structures.

    Demag KBK trolley:

    • Gantry with two individual trolleys for KBK II and II-H profiles (DBH 2).

    Manual trolley:

    • Flanged wheels made of GJS700 cast iron.
    • For flange widths up to 300 mm.
    • Optionally available in stainless steel.
    • With derailment protection.

    Electric trolley:

    • With compact brake.
    • DBH 2: one motor, DBH 5: two motors.
    • Optionally pole-changeable (2 travel speeds).
    • Converter (DMU) integrated into the electrical enclosure.
    • Control via DSB/DSX/DST control switches.

  • Control switch

    The control switches enable precise lifting, lowering and travel – with emergency stop safety and, if required, for stepless speed control.

    • DSB control switches with emergency stop as standard.
    • Optional: DSX or DST.
    • Suitable for pole-changing or inverter-controlled drives.

  • Lifting motor

    • Sealed brake design to prevent the escape of fine dust.
    • Maintenance-free lifting motor.
    • Optional: 
      • Pole-changing (2 fixed lifting speeds).
      • Frequency converter-controlled for infinitely variable lifting speeds of 0.5–20 m/min.
    • The gearbox is lubricated for life.

  • Environments

    The Demag belt hoist is the ideal solution for production environments where cleanliness, safety and reliable processes are top priorities. The Dyneema® is completely lubrication-free and corrosion-resistant. As many of the DBH’s components are encapsulated, no substances can escape.

  • Hook

    The hook assembly is robust, secure and, if required, also available in a corrosion-resistant stainless steel version – ideal for hygiene or chemical applications.

    • Standard: painted DIN hooks made of forged steel.
    • Polyamide rope pulleys with sealed bearings.
    • Optional: hooks in stainless steel (with stainless steel bearings).
    • Lower block zinc-nickel-plated as standard, also available in stainless steel as an option.
