Demag wheel block systems can keep your business on the move – as single components or complete travel units. The DRS-M further improves our DRS system, successfully used in hundreds and thousands of applications all over the world.
Simple installation and alignment, compact dimensions, and many connection options are key features of the DRS-M wheel system. The DRS-M includes even more new features that provide users with efficiency benefits. The range includes four sizes 112, 125, 160 and 200, which are an exact replacement with previous DRS models. When your capacity needs exceed the DRS-M offering, the larger DRS 250 – 500 sizing is still available to meet your needs up to 40 tons.

The DRS-M is a further improvement of a system that is successfully used in hundreds and thousands of applications all over the world.
DRS-M: Sizes 112 - 200
- Like all Demag wheel blocks and systems, DRS-M wheel blocks are manufactured at our production facility in Wetter (Ruhr), Germany.
- High-quality housings made of die-cast aluminium have good rigidity with very high tolerances.
- Wheel housing encloses the travel wheels and bearings on 5 sides for optimum protection.
- Powder-coated finished housing for additional protection.
- Prepared for direct connection.
Prepared for accessories
- Flexible planning for your project
- Integrated threaded bore holes make adding optional accessories like guide rollers or rail sweeps easy. They can be installed directly on the wheel block at project installation or added later as required.
Easy to check: Mechanical wear measurement
- Mechanical wear indicator makes inspections easier with a visual gauge consisting of a knurled nut and color scale indicator.
- This mechanical wear indicator can be used to check the current state of wear on the wheel at standstill, regardless of the wheel position.
- The result can be easily read on a color scale.
Fixed top connection
- The innovative installation connection enables wheel blocks to be replaced quickly without the need for time-consuming realignment.
- This fixed alignment element can be attached to the steelwork and ensures that the wheel block remains precisely positioned even after it is replaced.
Even stronger guide rollers
- The DRS-M is guide roller and buffer ready with threaded bore holes on the end faces.
- The improved guide roller attachment enables even higher horizontal forces to be accommodated.
- On the DRS-M 200, for example, it can now accommodate 20% of the given wheel load and ensure smooth running characteristics also under extreme loads.

Connection variants: Improve to the max
Any connection can be implemented with the DRS-M: prepared mating surfaces enable them to be connected to bolted and welded elements, and installed in hollow profile sections and crossbeams.
