Trade fairs and exhibitions

Trade fairs and exhibitions

A uniform brand presence is particularly important at trade fairs and exhibitions.

This section presents the main design elements, which need to be considered both for stand systems as well as for freely designed stands.

At our trade fair and exhibition stands, we present ourselves as an innovative company that offers reliable products to meet future needs all over the world. Worldwide. For this reason, the level of quality that we deliver should also be reflected by our trade fair and exhibition stands.

  • Modern, welcoming atmosphere
  • Transparent architecture and stand structure
  • High-quality, co-ordinated materials
  • Clear communication, supported by subtle colouring, based on brand-relevant colours

Exhibition and trade fair goals

Depending on the weighting, a trade fair pursues the following objectives:

1) Creation of new contacts

A trade fair is a market place. This is where suppliers and interested parties come together. Creating new contacts is an important goal of trade fair participation.

2) Maintenance of existing customer relationships

A trade fair with products offers our sales teams the opportunity to present products to their customers and have them tested directly. It provides the opportunity to address customers directly in the run-up to the event, invite them to visit the stand and demonstrate the exhibited products to them in detail.

3) Image gain

If the conditions for stand size, design and surroundings are met, a trade fair offers a valuable opportunity to strengthen the brand image - even in the direct vicinity of competitors.

Overall impression and colour scheme

Always: The trade fair stand must be immediately and clearly identifiable under the Demag brand at first glance. Worldwide. The quality of the products and services offered should correspond to the overall impression. This applies to the overall design and features, to the use of state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems as well as to the choice of materials with consideration given to ecological aspects for erection and disassembly.

The corporate blue/grey/silver/white colour scheme is an important design element with a high level of brand recognition and look-and-feel and should therefore be employed throughout.

A product presentation is also possible in a very limited space. Product walls as well as small KBK installations or solo products can always be exhibited. The product presentation is supported by pictures, graphics, statements and product and image films.

It should always be noted that the products on display are intended to make Demag stand out as a provider of solutions.

If you wish to provide hospitality to guests or provide food for the stand staff, please also consider an appropriately large and equipped kitchen with refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, shelves, coffee machine, electric kettle, crockery, cutlery, trays, waste bin and waste paper basket.

A block stand of this size allows optimum access to a stand from four sides.
This increases the perception of the stand and its presence in an exhibition hall. The size of the stand is associated by visitors and the competition with the size of the company.

Products in motion generate curiosity and act as a magnet for visitors. Targeted and well-positioned messages ensure that interesting discussions are initiated at the stand.
