Single-girder crane,
KBK II, cubic steel parts
Raw material is supplied on pallets, the machines are loaded using a KBK single-girder crane. The installation is also used for re-fitting the machinery.
Pillar-mounted slewing crane
SDK-ZSD, turned parts
Feeding two turning lathes and transporting completed workpieces using a pillar-mounted slewing crane
Double-girder crane
ZTK, KBK II, TV
Assembly of crankshafts in diesel engines using an electric telescopic mast suspended from a KBK system. Bolted connections are made using the bolting tool guided on the telescopic mast.
Double-girder crane
ZTK, KBK II, wire bundles, spring production
Bundles of wire weighing up to 500 kg and wire belts weighing up to 75 kg are fed to the machinery using the manually guided KBK double-girder crane.
Workpieces weighing up to 200 t for manufacturing turbines and generators are positioned right down to the last millimetre for further processing. In addition, the cranes are also fitted with an auxiliary crab for performing additional auxiliary operations, such as turning the products.
Demag suspension cranes are particularly suitable to fulfill special requirements, for example lifting/depositing loads close to machinery that is situated extremely close to building walls or columns. Transfer to branch tracks can also implemented.
The very high quality workpieces weighing up to 120 t for manufacturing high-capacity compressors are positioned right down to the last millimetre at the processing station. Protection of the processing centres and the expensive workpieces is of particular importance.
Maintenance platforms fitted with additional HQL lamps are often the basis for universal crane types. This not only makes it easier to maintain a crane, factory fittings, e.g. in the roof area, can be reached more easily.
In the assembly shop of a mechanical engineering company, the entire area is served by a crane with large span. The Demag double-girder crane can also be designed for high load capacities in this combination.
KBK stacker crab with 500 kg lifting capacity, fitted with an electronic weighing device. Using the stacker crab, forged wheels are picked up, measured, checked for cracks, weighed and staged ready for the next handling operation. All horizontal motions are manual, only the lifting mechanism is electrically driven.
