The benefits of Demag chain hoists with infinitely-variable speed control will also impress you: high-quality, sensitive parts can be lifted, lowered and positioned more gently and carefully.
Installation and positioning processes can be controlled with greater precision, hoist motions can be performed much more quickly thanks to an almost doubled nominal lifting speed in the partial load range. The new variable-speed DCS-Pro and DCMS-Pro chain hoists represent high efficiency and safety. The control unit and the frequency inverter are integrated beneath the electrical equipment cover as a compact plug-in modular sub-assembly to save space.
In comparison with the proven DC-Pro with two hoist speeds, the new Demag DCS-Pro and DCMS-Pro chain hoists offer your further benefits:
Infinitely variable speed control for lifting and lowering motions over the entire load range
Creep lifting speed from 0.15 m/min (DCS 1 and 2) and 0.08 m/min (DCS 5)
Gentle starting and precise positioning thanks to particularly fine control at low speeds
Gentle positioning and fast travel in one, thanks to a 1:200 control ratio
Pro-Hub: Up to 90 % higher nominal speed for partial load or no-load operations
Automatic switchover to creep lifting speed before the upper / lower stopping positions are reached
Smooth operation and optimum ergonomics thanks to 10 mm switching path and progressive characteristic of the PWM switching elements
Acceleration and braking ramps prevent significant load sway
Hoist speed, acceleration and braking ramp can be simply modified via the control pendant
Increased safety by means of motor temperature monitoring
Wide voltage range input 380 - 480 V / 50 - 60 Hz
Long and cross-travel with the DCS-Pro are infinitely variable when the E11/E22 is used
Fully featured instead of extras price list
Many features are already integrated into the Demag DCS-Pro chain hoist as standard that have to be ordered and bought as extras from other suppliers. That is "Standard – Made by Demag", an investment with added value.
Improved safety and reliability thanks to 24 V control voltage and operating limit switches
Gearbox, brake and slipping clutch are maintenance-free for up to 10 years
Effective cut-off on overload thanks to speed-monitored slipping clutch
The brake-coupling system ensures that the load is held securely in any operating situation - the load cannot drop
Simple installation and commissioning thanks to Plug & Lift and Plug & Drive connections
Pivoting service cover for rapid access to all important plug-and-socket connections, height adjustment of the control pendant and chain lubrication
Fast and ergonomic height adjustment of the control pendant without the need for any additional wiring
Fatigue-free operation owing to ergonomically optimised DSC-S control pendant with plug connection
Flexibility as standard thanks to two sizes of suspension bracket
U 11/U 22 trolley featuring infinitely variable adjustment to the flange width for fast and easy installation
Elapsed operating time counter and diagnostics interface provide information on the operating status – maintenance breaks can be planned
Interchangeable chain drive can be quickly and easily replaced without having to remove the motor or gear parts
The DCS-Pro offers outstanding flexibility thanks to its full set of features and can be installed and put into operation in a minimum of time.
Demag DCMS-Pro Manulift
The DCM-Pro Manulift was developed for handling loads quickly and safely with infinitely-variable speed control using only one hand. Like the the DCM-Pro, it is based on the DC-Pro chain hoist lifting unit and the DSM-CS control unit which is connected to it by a helical cable.
Thanks to the control unit which is rigidly connected to the load handling attachment for right and left-handed operation, only one hand is needed to operate the chain hoist and guide the load. The quick-change coupling enables the various Manulift load handling attachments to be changed with ease.
Variable speeds and low-sway handling with electric travel drive
The DCS-Pro can also be moved simply and with ease by hand, either on the new U11/U22 push-travel trolleys or on the KBK rail system. The new E 11/E 22 travel drives can be used for electric travel. They are quickly fitted to the push-travel trolley; the E 22 travel drive is used for the new KBK RF 125 friction wheel travel drive.
E 11/E 22 electric travel drives are shipped ready for operation.
Long and cross-travel with the DCS-Pro are infinitely variable
Travel speeds from 0.5 to 24 m/min, up to 30 m/min with partial loads
24V control voltage
Plug & Drive connectors
Inputs for limit switches and fast-to-slow limit switches integrated into control card
Smooth starting and braking by means of acceleration and braking ramps
The following settings are also possible, as required:
User-specific modification of the parameters for travel speed, acceleration and braking parameters via the DSE-10CS control pendant
Load-sway damping can be activated for the cross-travel motion
