In compliance with BGV D8 (VBG 8) and FEM 9.755, companies are obliged to take driven rope and chain hoists for lifting loads and crane hoist units out of operation when the theoretical duration of service has expired.
A new life for your hoist unit
After a general overhaul carried out by our engneers, your hoist unit is comparable with a new hoist in terms of operation, performance values and expected service life. Operation for a further period of use is then guaranteed.
The general overhaul package includes
- material required for the general overhaul based on the standard design
- replacement of the parts by one of our expert engineers
- function test of the hoist unit after completion of the general overhaul
- certification of the completed general overhaul in the test and inspection booklet
- specifying the new theoretical utilisation period
- specifying the maximum period until the next general overhaul
